| Coolant Temperature Senders |

- Are tested to meet Ford Motor Company requirements for durability and electrical performance
- Feature threads and a seal that are matched precisely to the vehicle application
- Feature the proper output curve to work with the vehicle temperature gauge, preventing misreadings
|
- Corrosion or faulty connections
- If the temperature gauge is pegged low after the engine is warm, or is pegged high on start-up, or there is intermittent illumination of a temperature indicator light, the sender could be faulty
|
- Appropriate electrical connections to and from the sender
- Temperature gauge or indicator light
- Appropriate fuses (see Shop or Owner’s Manual for fuse layout)
